Ana - a tribute and memorial to Ana Duarte-Coiner

"On the evening of Wednesday, July 18, 1996, TWA Flight 800, carrying 212 passengers and 17 crew members, exploded and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Long Island shortly after taking off from New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport en route to Paris. There were no survivors, and at this time the cause of the crash has not been determined." - from the Official FBI Home Page

One of those passengers was Ana Duarte-Coiner, a 12-year-old girl from Binghamton, NY.

Ana was known by all as an energetic, clear-headed, smart, talented, creative girl within whom the spark of genius glowed. She had many, varied interests and hobbies, including playing piano (at left), singing, reading, using her computer (right), doing live television broadcasts, playing tennis and softball, or ballet dancing. All of the people who wrote anything for this page, including myself, met Ana through the Internet. This page is devoted to he r memory.
